Long-Term Osteoporosis Treatment: Osteoclasts Biology

This topical learning module encompasses the formation, fusion, resorption, and signaling processes of osteoclasts to osteoblasts (coupling), along with the modulation of these processes by long-term antiresorptive therapy (e.g., RANKL inhibition). The available resources encompass Primer textbook chapters, ASBMR webinars/meeting sessions, podcasts, and recent JBMR/JBMR Plus articles on osteoclast mechanisms relevant to sustained therapy and treatment discontinuation.
